The Hospital was established in 1959 as a private hospital in Cape Coast. It went through a change of ownership and moved to its present location in Sekondi-Takoradi, Western Region of Ghana.
It operated in the mid 1930´s as a Maternity Home & Orphanage and has since grown to become a General Hospital with a bed complement of 200.
